Artipoppe has partnered up with Jane Goodall in the creation of a special Zeitgeist Baby Carrier. Inspiration for the Jane Goodall Zeitgeist Carrier was drawn from her lifelong work with the chimpanzees of Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania. For this special collaboration we have created a Zeitgeist in a natural linen and organic cotton blend in line with both Jane's and Artipoppe's values on sustainability. Zeitgeist Jane Goodall x Artipoppe is airy and light yet strong and durable, and can be passed on from generation to generation. Inspired by Jane's "Africa" necklace, the embroidered emblem on the waist belt represents Africa and the location of Gombe National Park. There is a small cargo pocket on the waist belt that can be used for change, a love letter or a cell phone. 10% of all worldwide revenue will be donated to the Jane Goodall Institute.
More On Jane Goodall
In 1960 Dr. Goodall entered the forests of Tanzania to study the remarkable lives of wild chimpanzees, a study that continues today more than 60 years later. Jane left the forest to save them when she discovered that the survival of their species was threatened by habitat destruction and illegal trafficking. She developed a breakthrough approach to species conservation that improves the lives of people, animals and the environment by honoring their connectedness to each other. In 1977, she founded the Jane Goodall Institute to ensure that her vision and life’s work continue to mobilize the collective power of individual action to protect the natural world we all share. Your support helps us advance her vision and our ongoing global work for the benefit of all.
