The Baby Wrap for Hip Carrying

The baby wrap extends the hip carry into a more supported, fully wraparound silhouette. Where the ring sling uses a single shoulder, the wrap distributes weight across both shoulders and the back, making it better suited to longer carries or heavier babies. The same hip position applies throughout: knees above the hips, back supported, the child sitting naturally against the parent's side. Hip-Healthy Design

Every Artipoppe ring sling and baby wrap is acknowledged hip-healthy by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute and complies with the American ASTM F2236 and European CEN/TR 16512-2015 safety standards. The hip carry naturally places the child in the M-position, with the thighs supported and the knees slightly higher than the base of the spine, the posture that places the least strain on the hip joints during the critical early months of development.
